Summer of Tech 2010 Student Terms & Conditions
Completing the SoT Candidate Registration process is an acknowledgement that you have read and agree to abide by the following rules.
- I am currently enrolled in a NZ tertiary institution.
- I am eligible to work in NZ this summer.
- I will endeavour to get upskilled via participation in as many of the bootcamps on professional & technical topics as possible.
- I will complete my profile including uploading true & correct info to the SoT website, including my CV/portfolio, skills matrix, test & code samples (if applicable), academic record & career statement
- I will participate in the recruitment process, by expressing an interest in projects on the SoT website, and attending the Meet & Greet session(s). I will be available and attend Job Interviews if I am selected.
- After job interviews, I understand that my final ranking of a project on the SoT website is an indication that I will accept that role.
- I will agree to an internship, if one is offered by a SoT Employers. I understand that the terms of employment are to be negotiated between me & my employer.
- If I am not successful getting an internship during the SoT Recruitment process, I will let the SoT team know if I am still available for a summer job.
- Throughout my participation in Summer of Tech, I willl be a professional employee and ambassador for the SoT programme.
