Let us know you’re coming..

Kia ora, whānau!

Join us at Creative HQ to celebrate two decades of growing Aotearoa’s tech talent.

Twenty years ago, a handful of Wellington startups at Creative HQ had a simple idea: help students land their first tech job, and help employers find great people. They called it Summer of Code.

Two decades, thousands of internships and more bootcamps than we can count later, Summer of Tech is still going strong. That’s all thanks to you.

Maybe you were an intern back in 2006. Maybe you’ve reviewed CVs on a Tuesday night, hired a junior who now runs the team, or cheered us on from the sidelines. Whichever it is, you’re part of this story. So we’re throwing a party to bring our whole community together - alumni, volunteers, mentors, employers, sponsors, past and present staff, and anyone who’s been part of the journey - to celebrate what we’ve built, side by side, with kai, kōrero, catching up and a few stories from the last 20 years.
