Jayen and Tom both came into PartsTrader as Summer of Tech interns and ended up building long term careers there. They’ve moved through different teams, picked up new tech stacks, taken on more responsibility and figured out how to work in a real product environment. Their experiences show how much you can grow in a short internship when you’re curious, ask questions and make the most of the support around you, and they’re a good reminder of the value interns bring when employers give them the space to learn and contribute.

When Jemimah and Maddy joined Pushpay as Summer of Tech interns, they had no idea it would be the start of something bigger. Their internships turned into full-time roles — and since then, they’ve been growing, learning, and making their mark in the tech industry.

We sat down with them to chat about what helped them get their foot in the door, how they approached those first few months, and the lessons they’d share with anyone hoping to turn a Summer of Tech internship into their first big career move.
